Pitchers are deep purple, striped nearly black.  Tendrils are very short and stout so that pitchers are held straight up, giving an attractive uniform appearance to the plant. A very scarce plant in cultivation.

Small 2-3 inch leafspan

Medium 3.5-5 inch leafspan

Large 5.5 inch and larger

Pictured is what the pitchers look like on this variety as it matures, plant shipped will be smaller and pitchers may not be present.
